CREW

We know who you are – the slightly zany friends who see a hot air balloon in the sky and can’t help but follow it across the vast Indiana landscape. We see you, and we can’t wait to meet you!

Being a part of a Chase Crew is exhilarating, unpredictable, and tons of fun! Where else do you get to use a Walkie Talkie while tailing a giant hot-air-filled air craft to unknown destinations?

Chase Crew Roles:

Expectations:

Crewing is a fun hobby for all sorts of folks! Single, married, families, friend groups – you name it! Most don’t get paid, but pilots will sometimes trade crew hours for a chance to go up in the sky. You don’t need any special skills – just a willing attitude and the ability to follow directions.

TIME COMMITMENT: Flight time in Indiana is about 1 hour, with an hour for set-up and tear down. We finish the night with a toast and appetizers, and the crew is always invited to join in on the celebration. It truly is a night of community and joy.

WHAT TO BRING: We recommend that you wear pants, boots, and gloves. Don’t forget a smile and sense of adventure! Also, feel free to take pictures! We’d love to see them.

GET INVOLVED: Fill out the form below to let us know you’re interested in being a part of our team. We’ll get in touch and put you on our list. Often, flying in Indiana is hit or miss – you know how crazy our weather is – so we need a reliable contact number to change plans on a moment’s notice.

We will add you to our group notification text when crew dates and times are confirmed.
